Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and HELLOBAE PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U63120UW2026PTC259580, "HelloBae", "we", "us"), Graphix Tower 2, A-13, Upper Ground Floor, Sector 62, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301. By creating an account on hellobae.in or using the HelloBae app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use HelloBae

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You use your own phone number and keep one account.
• You have not been convicted of a violent or sexual offence.
• You are not barred from using a service like HelloBae under Indian law.

2. Signing up before launch, and the free Premium

You can create your HelloBae account on hellobae.in before the app launches; it is the same account you sign in to in the app with the same number. An account created on hellobae.in before launch gets free Premium: 6 months for women, and one week with 2 Instant Video Dates for everyone else, based on the gender in your profile. It starts the first time you sign in to the app. Numbers that joined our earlier waitlist get one free week the same way. The free Premium is personal, can't be exchanged for money, and is given once per person. We plan to launch in December 2026; dates can move, and we'll tell you if they do.

3. Your account and profile

Keep your profile truthful and your own: real, recent photos of you, your real age and honest answers. You are responsible for what you post and for activity on your account. We may remove content or ask you to verify your profile.

4. Be respectful

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone;
• post nudity, sexual content, violence, hate or anything illegal;
• pretend to be someone else, or use HelloBae for scams, selling or promotion;
• ask anyone for money or financial details;
• record, screenshot or share video dates or private messages without consent;
• use bots, scrape the service, or try to break its security.

We may warn, suspend or permanently block accounts that break these rules, and report illegal behaviour to the authorities.

5. Meeting people

HelloBae helps you meet people, but we don't run criminal background checks and can't guarantee how anyone behaves. Meet in public, tell a friend your plans, and leave any time you feel uncomfortable. Use Report or Block in the app whenever something feels wrong, and contact the police in an emergency.

6. Free and paid features

Joining HelloBae, a daily number of likes, verification, SOS, reporting and blocking are free. Some features are paid:

• Date Passes. One pass is one Instant Video Date. A pass is used only once the video part of the date has lasted 1 minute; if the date ends sooner, the pass stays with you. Passes are bought in packs and are shown in the app with their price before you buy. Some members get free video dates, for example a first free date, or free dates for a set time after selfie verification; the app shows what applies to you.
• Chat unlock. A one-time payment that opens one conversation for both people. Some chats open free, for example your first chat, a chat where the other person writes first, or a chat with someone you matched with on a video date; the app shows when a chat is free.
• Plans (weekly, monthly or quarterly). A plan includes a number of video dates for its period, unlimited likes, advanced filters and every chat open. Video dates not used in a period end with it. A plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancel at least 24 hours before it renews to avoid the next charge. Plan benefits end when the paid period ends.
• Offers. We may offer a lower price for a first period or a pack, or free dates, for a limited time. Each offer and its end date are shown before you buy.

Prices include GST and are shown in the app before you pay. All purchases are made inside the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow their payment and refund rules; refunds are requested from them. Passes and unlocks can't be exchanged for money or moved to another account. For a payment problem, write to contact@hellobae.in.

7. Content and licence

You keep ownership of what you post. You give HelloBae permission to store, show and process it to run the service, for as long as it's on HelloBae. The HelloBae name, logo, app and website belong to us.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put others at risk.

9. Limits of our responsibility

HelloBae is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for the conduct of members, on or off HelloBae, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction. Please write to us first; most problems can be solved quickly.

11. Grievances and contact

Grievance Officer, HELLOBAE PRIVATE LIMITED, at the address above, or contact@hellobae.in. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply.
